PAVITHRA GANESARATNAM – SENIOR SOLICITOR (LLB, LLM)
Pavithra Ganesaratnam is a British educated Australian Lawyer with an ability to practice Law in the England and Wales (United Kingdom), Australia and New Zealand.
Pavithra’s interest in Estate Planning started when she developed a research interest on how some wealthy families preserve, invest and pass down their wealth, while others don’t.
This led her to research on intergenerational wealth preservation and study how families like the Rothschilds managed to stay wealthy for over 200 years.
Her research showed that a staggering 70 percent of wealthy families lose their wealth by the next generation, with 90 percent losing it the generation after that.
Pavithra’s interest in Estate Planning led her to work as an Estate Planning Lawyer and to head the Estate planning department of a WA law firm, before she decided to use her knowledge to start her own practice in this area.

Pavithra has over 10 years PQE and has working in Tier 1 Law firms and organisations. This includes working with the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government in Canberra, where she worked as a Senior Officer (Legal) at the ACT Courts and Tribunals.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Pavithra graduated with an undergraduate Law degree at the highly ranked University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom and completed the UK Legal Practice Course (British Solicitor Exams) at the BPP Law School, London, United Kingdom.
She then received the Swiss Governments "FCS Scholarship" and the Karl Popper Foundations "Karl Popper Award". These Scholarships worth in excess of $58,000, allowed her to read for a Master in at the Graduate Institute Geneva, Switzerland.
She then completed her postgraduate education at the University of Sydney and the Australian National University in Canberra, after which she was admitted as an Australian Lawyer.
Pavithra is presently reading part time for a Master in Mining and Energy Law from the University of Western Australia on a Commonwealth Supported place worth over $28,000.
